NY in January
Last weekend we drove to New York so Dave could go to his last interview for residency programs. Since my sister and her family live there, we all piled in the car and went out for a visit. The interview went well, and now we're just waiting for "match day" to find out our fate. New York was great, and it was fun to be able to have Dave with us this time! The weather was surprisingly balmy for NY in January (mid 40's even). The trip was short and sweet, but we managed to get a lot in - Natural History Museum, Shake Shack, Magnolias Bakery, Times Square, Lion King on Broadway (I surprised Dave - late anniversary celebration since we haven't done a thing to celebrate anniversaries for the past couple years), Cafe Lalo, feeding ducks, Central Park, FAO Schwarz, NY pizza (and LOTS of other delicious food items... obviously one of my favorite parts.) On the way home, we met up with Dave's sister and niece for a couple of hours at the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA.
Times Square right before seeing Lion King...

I have never been to New York, but seeing that picture of you guys makes me really want to go there someday just to experience that. It looks crazy there. haha. I hope Dave gets in!Good luck with everything!
Yumm...Shake Shack was one of our favorites! My sister texts us every time she goes and Michael gets so upset that he only got to eat there once. Looks like a fun trip! One day we are going to do a "Sisters trip to NYC"!
Thanks again for coming! Such a fun visit!!!!
