Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we went with some friends to Honey Haven Farm down in Ashland. The drive through farm country was beautiful this time of year, and we didn't really mind that we got a little lost along the way. We had a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch where Dave selected a nice (BIG) pumpkin. We ate pumpkin ice cream and cider donuts. We listened to the bluegrass band, saw the animals at the petting zoo and shot corn cobs out of the corn cannon. They also had a corn maze, pumpkin slingshot, and a mini straw maze for kids. Owen loved pulling straw out of the bales, eating crunchy leaves, and chewing on his pumpkin stem - perfect Fall day.
